Round One.....The wedding.
I love this set of images, Nicky and Sophie are two people with a whole lot of heart. It's impossible not to get caught up in their happiness and enthusiasm for life.
Sophie got ready at her parents home along with her bridesmaids, there were lots of giggles going on as they got ready. I was greeted at the door by two of the residents who were going off for the day. Two magnificent Dalmatians, a breed I am very much at home with, having once owned one myself. Owing to their exuberant personalities and boundless enthusiasm it was a good idea for them to have a day out.
As the morning continued some more parallels became apparent. It turns out Sophie and I have the same taste in cars too. She was being driven to her wedding in the same make and model of car I arrived at mine in. The only difference being the color. Believe me it's the ONLY way to travel and it's impossible to be late!
Sophie and Nicky married at Whatley Manor. Whatley Manor is a magical place. It is so incredibly peaceful. The grounds are a photographers' heaven with beautiful lawns and gardens arches and a stunning array of planting. Whatley Manor has achieved many awards and accolades since it opened it doors in 2003.
Sophie and Nicky married in the grounds of Whatley Manor in an intimate ceremony with family and close friends.
The speeches were lovely, with roaring laughter, tears and just enough embarrassment.
The whole day was a pleasure to record and the best bit? Well that's that I get to do it all again in a month at Round two...The Party.

Oh EVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!! THEY ARE PERFECT!
Wow that month flew by and I am back again with Nicky and Sophie. After a perfectly beautiful wedding at the lovely Whatley Manor it was time to kick back and have a good old knees up. Nicky and Sophie stayed close to home choosing the pretty hall in their village. This is a great way of doing things if you want to involve lots of guests and you get to wear THAT DRESS twice.
Sophie and Nicky strolled down from their house in the Sunshine and were greeted by all their guests. They enjoyed a tremendous BBQ and the children raced around blowing bubbles and bouncing on space hoppers, actually it wasn't just the children!
There lovely cake was created by Bake My Cake. Simple and beautiful.
The enjoyed a casino by Casino Night Hire
To top it off they danced the night away to Dizzy Feet Disco.
What a great day it was and I believe it continued into the wee small hours, and why not! A fab celebration for a fab couple.
Thank you to Sophie and Nicky. It is always a pleasure to work with such beautifully happy people.
With love, eve.
