The day stated early at The Old Bell Hotel in Malmesbury . In fact I was a little too early as Clare was still enjoying her breakfast.
The Old Bell Hotel is steeped in history and sits next door to the fabulous Malmesbury Abbey. The hotel is reputed to be England's oldest, with history dating back to a staggering 1220.
I was immediately at ease with Clare, she is a funny vivacious woman, who is organised and knows what she want's, says what she means and is ultra friendly. The morning was spent alongside Kate Kelvin who did Clare's hair and make up. Iv'e seen a lot of Kate recently and the camera loves her work, her brides are flawless.
A quick trip to the pub with the groomsmen and their lovely Cocker Spaniel, and Edward was ready to say "I do" in the stunning Malmesbury Abbey.
I photograph a lot of weddings and enjoy every single one for a variety of different reasons. Clare and Edwards wedding was a joy to photograph. Lots of laughter, happy tears and the love was palpable.
It was so hard to choose the images for the preview...these are just a handful.
